Founded in 2007 by Louis Juneau and Monique Comeau, AXYS Permits Inc. grew out of NOVA Permits, a Quebec-based permitting company the pair acquired in 2005, and was launched specifically to serve the American oversize/overweight trucking market. Originally based in Columbus, Ohio, AXYS moved its headquarters to Florida in 2011 and now operates as a fully remote team of specialists located across North America. AXYS offers a one-stop shop of regulatory services for the transportation industry: oversize and overweight permits, trip and fuel permits, permanent licensing, road route planning, on-site route analysis for superloads, budget analysis for transport projects, Canada-USA escort vehicle arrangements, consultation, training, and access to transport law expertise. In 2019, AXYS partnered with NOVA Permits and ProMiles Software Development Company to build Permit Manager, a software platform that automates quoting, permit acquisition, and escort assignment for North American transportation compliance. With more than 200 combined years of permitting experience across its agents, AXYS is known for fast, accurate, and affordable permits and is a member of the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SCRA).
